Books

Reading is an essential part of writing in today’s world. I try to read every day about almost everything. Following are the books that I’ve read. Will be updating the list regularly as I make the progress in reading the books. I find the below books very valuable to a reader of history, religion and general studies. I hope you will read them too.

Please note I do not agree with many things which’re written in some of the books, but it’s good to know other’s perspective. The dates in the brackets show when I finished reading the book; some dates are missing as I read them long back.

Below markers on the books of Sikhism are set according to what I’ve known about the Sikhs, Sikh History, Sikh Values and Sikh Scriptures. Green may or may not mean everything is correctly written.

● – Recommended, but has some anti-Sikh stories/verses.

● – Recommended to only those who know history and Gurbani and can’t be deceived.

● – Books that shouldn’t have been published at the first place.

● – Historical source with a lame and shoddy introduction by the editor.
